Our Ministry Strategy
We focus on six key areas that will help students to know Jesus, own their faith, and make their faith known.
The six areas are represented
by six statements.
"I will follow Jesus as Lord of my life."
"I will grow in my walk with Christ."
"I will live with
integrity."
"I will walk wisely in my daily life."
"I will love all other's God's way."
"I will impact my world for
Christ."
We believe these six statements sum up what should be the desire of each Christian as they live their daily lives.
We offer three opportunities on a weekly basis where teens can be involved in KOK:
Cross Training
Sundays 9:45 - 10:45 AM
This
is the KNOW part of the strategy. Teens are engaged in lectures and discussion covering topics under each of the six areas.
BASIC
Sundays
6:00 - 8:00 PM
This is the KNOWN part of the strategy. Teens are provided opportunities through missions and small groups to
use the lessons learned to impact their world and strength relationships.
The EDGE
Wednesdays 6:30 - 8:00 PM
This is the OWN part
of the strategy. The lessons from Sunday are expanded and deepened through small group interaction.
