Parents are the number one leaders, encouragers, and mentors in a student's life.  The Teen Ministry of Elders believes that the church should come alongside parents and help them raise teenagers who live life with Christ for the rest of their lives.  To that end, listed below are some resources to help parents raise their children to follow hard after God.

*Without parents, the Student Ministry of Elders Baptist would not be effective in its mission to reach teens and their families for Jesus.  A great big THANK YOU to all of our parents!  You are all awesome!

Resources for Parents

Parent Page - The Parent Page is to be used as a spiritual discussion guide for the family.  The page contains the current topics being taught in Cross Training (Sunday mornings), the RAD Questions for the study (see below for RAD) and a list of things the family can do based on the topic.

Yearly Release Form - This form is required of any student in order to participate in Ministry events.  Please fill out the form and return it to Pastor Chad.  The form is good for a year.

Trip Pemission Slip - This form is required for all trips taken by the Ministry in the church van or by carpooling.

How Parents and Others Can Serve in the Ministry - Opportunites for parents and other adults to get involved in what God is doing in the Ministry.

Raising A Disciple - We want families to have spiritual conversations during the week.  This resource explains what Raising A Disciple (RAD) is and how to use it

The Youth Ministry of Elders Baptist Church invites parents to be involved in every aspect of the ministry, even if you just want to sit in on a Bible study.
