One of the ways that the Teen Ministry strives to help students KNOW God, FOLLOW Jesus in their faith, and SHINE for Jesus in their dialy lives, is through weekly opportunities to study and apply God's Word to their lives.  Listed below are the four opportunities that we provide.

Cross Training - The primary goal of Cross Training is to help students to KNOW God.  We delve into the Bible through topical or book studies.  This study seeks to provide the students with the knowledge they need to have a personal relationship with God, and then to grow in that relationship.  This is also the first level of our discipleship ministry.  Cross Training classes are divided into middle school and high school students.  This study meets on Sunday nights at 6:00 PM in the church parking lot or the fellowship hall (depending on weather).  It is also a hybrid class meeting on Zoom as well.

BASIC - The primary goal of BASIC is to help students FOLLOW Christ in their faith and to SHINE for Jesus.  This study seeks to equip students to own their faith in various life situations and to provide opportunities for the students to reach out to others in Christian love.  The teens are divided into small groups based on gender and age.  BASIC meets on Sunday nights at 6:00 PM from September to June.  The teens meet in the church's fellowship hall for this study.  Snacks are served during this study and games are played as well.  **BASIC is on hiatus until the COVID-19 pandemic is over.**

The Edge - Tprimary goal of the Edge is to help students to FOLLOW Jesus in their faith.  We want the teens to believe in and act upon their own faith in God.  We seek to help them through the use of small groups led by adult mentors.  The students are challenged with questions and senarios centered around a core biblical truth or practice.  This study meets every Wednesday at 6:30 PM  from September to June.  The Edge meets in the house behind the church.

**Currently, the Edge meets at 6:00 PM on Wednesdays in the church parking lot (weather permitting) or in the church fellowhsip hall.  Masks are required.

Dokimos - Dokimos is the Greek word for "approved" as found in 2 Timothy 2:15.  This study seeks to provide a challenge to students who want to dive deeper into God’s Word.  The study is discussion-based and focuses on one topic or one book of the Bible.  It is also a time of leadership preparation and one-on-one discipleship.  This study is for high school students only.  Dokimos meets Thursday nights at 7:30 PM at Pastor Chad's house from October to June.
